Course Introduction
Teachers Train Teachers as a multi accredited teachers training provider offers this course with the approval of the NCFE Cache. This qualification provides an in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills required when working directly with children or young people in primary,secondary or special education needs schools.
The course develops the learner to help qualify them as a classroom assistant and concentrates on the stages from foundation to the end of key stage 4 including special needs.
It covers all aspects of specialist support including planning, delivering and reviewing assessment strategies to support learning alongside the teacher, bilingual and special need support, personal development and reflective practice.It is also a must-have for all those undertaking the level 3 supporting teaching and learning apprenticeship.

Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is aimed at learners working in roles that offer specialist support for pupils learning in primary, secondary or special school, as well as colleges.
Course Content

Part 1 – Academic Lectures.
Students must attend all lectures and pass all modules listed below, which are assessed entirely by Coursework.
Part 2 – Work Placement.
In order to successfully complete the course you are required to complete complete a work placement. Learner must complete minimum of 150 hours of work placement during the course and Teachers Train Teachers can help you find the work placement.

Teaching & Learning:
Each student will be assigned an assessor who will both abserve them in placement and support them through the course.
This is the recommended qualification for use in primary, secondary and special needs school.
The course is a 53-credit qualification and is accredited by NCFE Cache.
- 3-hours once a week blended training
- Includes numercy and literacy along with behaviour, communication,health and safety, child protection.
- Students are required to apply further studies hours for successful completion
Progression Routes on Completion
Learners achieving the level 3 Diploma in Supporting in Teaching and Learning can progress onto the level 4 certificate for the advanced Practitioner in schools and colleges, a foundation degree, level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or a specialist roles within the workforce.
Career Opportunities
This qualification provides you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work in a variety of unsupervised job roles that support children and young people’s learning in schools or colleges. Roles this qualification will prepare you for include:
