Required skills:

Ability to engage in activities associated with promotion, marketing, and public outreach of the subject area.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area and Eligibility for Fellow status under the Advanced Higher Education Professional Standards.
In-depth understanding of own specialism to enable the development of teaching material and new knowledge and understanding within the field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate complex and conceptual ideas to a range of groups.
Job duties:
Teaching, tutorials, training, guidance, counseling,
admissions, outreach, visiting students on placement, assessment, induction programmes,
invigilation, distance learning/student liaison, study visits, class/unit reviews,
employer liaison, preparation, marking, course review, examination boards,
reading and professional updating, course management,
internal verification,feedback to students, curriculum development, staff development, management and administration, publicity/marketing, market research, research and consultancy

Salary Scale: £21.13 per – £38,360 GBP (Unqualified – Qualified Lecturer)
